I’m Tine Reese, a leadership coach and experience strategy consultant.
I work with people who lead or want to lead—product managers, designers, researchers, engineers, data scientists, strategists, and CX pros. These are the humans at the heart of building services, shaping strategy, and driving innovation. And too often, they’re asked to lead without support.
That’s where I come in.
I coach individuals and teams to become more effective, confident, and strategic in how they lead—whether they have the title or not. I also consult with organizations to help cross-functional teams build alignment, evolve ways of working, and mature their leadership capabilities.
Over the past several years, I’ve led multidisciplinary teams and strategic initiatives at the intersection of research, service design, and organizational transformation. My leadership spans digital modernization, innovation strategy, and AI-enabled insights—working across federal agencies, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations.
I’ve shaped programs from zero to one, developed frameworks for customer and employee experience at scale, and influenced roadmaps through evidence, collaboration, and vision. At Ad Hoc LLC, I guided three teams through highly complex, high-stakes work for both the VA and PAN Foundation. At Aptive Resources, I’m currently leading efforts to bring new capabilities and offerings to market, bridging research, strategy, and AI innovation to transform how we work and serve federal government clients.
How I got here
For over 20 years, I worked in the trenches—researching, designing, managing, mentoring, and leading multidisciplinary teams. I’ve held senior roles in UX, customer experience, and service design strategy, and have helped organizations—from startups to federal agencies—tackle complexity with clarity.
In every role, I gravitated toward the human side of the work: helping people grow, navigate change, and lead with intention.
At Ad Hoc, I led product, UX, and research teams working on digital transformation for the Department of Veterans Affairs and PAN Foundation. I guided teams through ambiguity, helped shape 0–1 products, and coached managers and IC leads across the organization.
At Aptive Resources, I serve as Director of CX, UX in the Corporate Strategy office—coaching leaders, consulting on experience strategy, and driving innovation with AI and human-centered methods.
Alongside my work, I pursued formal training in leadership coaching and helped build internal coaching, leadership development, and human-centered design programs.
